It won’t return to the top. So, those 50 shares of the same item will find their way to your followers’ feeds!
I give my listings a daily makeover by relisting them. This not only shares them with my followers but also refreshes them in specific brand and category feeds. For those sought-after items, I share them multiple times a day to gather more followers and likes. Every now and then, about 1 in 50 orders, someone takes the plunge without bargaining, and that’s when the excitement kicks in. However, in the grand scheme, considering offers is part of the game when deciding on a price.
Setting the original listing price is like a dance – you want to step a bit higher than your target sale price. Not too high though; you wouldn’t want Poshers thinking you’re too greedy. Striking that balance is key – making your customer feel like they’re getting a fantastic deal. So, how do you find that sweet spot, leaving both you and your customer as satisfied as this lady post-transaction?
Let’s say I snagged an item for $2 and aimed to flip it for $20 – my starting point would be listing it at $30. Wondering how I got to that number? First, accounting for markdowns. After accumulating 20+ likes on an item, cue a flash sale or price drop, reducing the price by 15-20% and ensuring a quicker sale. After this markdown, my item transitions from $30 to $25.
Poshmark Tip: Spice things up by lowering your prices on Thursday or Friday when the payday spirit is high!
Important note: If you lower and then raise your price on the next drop, it won’t display as discounted unless you dip below your lowest listing price.
Alright, moving right along. I’ve been keeping tabs on my listings, and on average, items sell for 15-20% less than the listing price after an offer is sealed. In the example, that brings the item from $25 to the magical $20, and voila, I’ve hit my target price.
Ask For Host Picks
